I was born in the Medway Towns but grew up in Portsmouth where I studied art. I came to clay later on in life and fell in love with it. My ceramics are made from a white earthenware clay, I like to throw the body of my pots on the wheel and then add to them by rolling out slabs of clay, folding them around making each shape unique.  I love etching the clay with the free flowing lines that are reminiscent of the craggy rocks of Cornwall, My inspiration comes from the landscape around me, the blues and the greens of the wild seas to the swirling patterns I find on the stones and rocks I find on the beach.
